WPSU Penn State is a next-generation PBS and NPR media station offering programs through radio, cable, satellite, and digital channels. WPSU creates, curates, and distributes traditional and digital content on screens both large and small. As a community partner, WPSU focuses on local concerns that can be part of a greater national conversation and create stories that represent local culture, history, and places. WPSU TV reaches 515,000 households in 24 Pennsylvania counties, while WPSU-FM serves more than 450,000 listeners in 13 counties.
WPSU Penn State offers student internships year-round in a number of departments and also hires graduate assistants to fill important roles within the organization. The internships and assistantships provide students the opportunity to learn by doing, working side-by-side with experienced professionals, and make a contribution at WPSU, a community-minded, next-generation media organization.
