Penn State has several additional youth camp opportunities for 2009!
This Penn State summer camp offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the kinds of activities that take place in a university's professional design programs in architecture and landscape architecture. Faculty, alumni, and experienced undergraduate and graduate students will mentor the campers, who will use the facilities of the Penn State School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. You can try your hand at computer drafting and design and take part in hands-on building and model-making activities. You'll also tour the unique architecture and landscape architecture of the Penn State campus and take a field trip to Fallingwater—the famous house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. You'll round out your camp activities with various films, campus tours, and social events. The registration fee includes meals, dorm housing, materials, instruction, and the field trip and admission to Fallingwater, near Somerset, Pennsylvania.
