About the Campus
At Penn State Altoona you’ll find the appeal of a small, private college, with the name recognition and prestige of a major research university. Our goal is to help you reach your goals — educational, personal, and professional.
The campus has a low student-to-faculty ratio with approximately 300 faculty members teaching a student body of around 4,100. Penn State Altoona offers baccalaureate degree programs, associate degree programs, and the first two years of course work for more than 180 Penn State majors that can be completed at other Penn State campuses.
