Babysitting Skills and CPR Certification (Entering grades 6–10)

A good babysitter has leadership skills and is able to provide basic care, safe play, and first aid. This course, designed around these four major themes, can give you the knowledge and skills to become an expert in babysitting. You can also learn infant and child CPR and receive certification after completing the course.

Etiquette: What Are Manners and Why Do I Need Them? (Entering grades 10–12)

Someday you might attend a formal dinner, with many knives, forks, and spoons at your place setting; what are they all for? Knowing the correct thing to do in a situation can make you feel more at ease and could possibly make an impression that will help you get into college or land your dream job. In this camp you will review situations such as dinner party etiquette and more. On the final day of camp, you will use what you have learned and participate in a mock dinner party.

Have you ever wondered what it takes to become a great speaker, or do you simply wish that you wouldn’t get nervous every time you had to do a presentation? Worry no more! You will take a look at some eloquent and not-so-eloquent speakers of our generation — and learn effective methods for giving the perfect speech. At the end of your awesome journey, you should have no problem giving a speech ever again!
