Proctoring Becomes Easy and Flexible with Kryterion™
We have partnered with Kryterion, a leading provider of online secured testing, to deliver exams for select World Campus undergraduate courses.
For courses using Kryterion services, you can schedule your examination directly with Kryterion at a time that is convenient for you, and you can take the examination at a location of your choosing — at home, at work, or wherever it is most convenient. After you complete your exam, your results will be available immediately.
Find out if Kryterion will be proctoring your course exams by looking at the remarks session or the sample course syllabi in the World Campus Online Course Catalog. Visit www.worldcampus.psu.edu and select "Course Catalog." Specific instructions regarding registering with Kryterion and scheduling your exam will be found in your course.
Kryterion will proctor your exam at a distance, using a HUE camera that you will need to purchase prior to your exam. Other cameras — such as built-in laptop cameras or cameras with built-in recording features — cannot be used. You can purchase the camera at MBS Direct (you must provide your "course ID") or a store of your choice. If you do not purchase your camera through MBS Direct, you will need to verify that you are purchasing the correct brand (up-to-date brand information is available via MBS Direct, or the World Campus Online Course Catalog).
