Urban Service Experience is a 2-credit course (RPTM 297C). All students participating in Urban Service Experience must be registered as a full-time student (12 or more credits) for fall semester. A welcome packet will be sent via e-mail to confirm your acceptance into the program.
All program participants are responsible for full payment of their fall tuition. The nonrefundable $175 activity fee will be billed directly to your student account upon participation in the program. Notice of cancellation must be received via e-mail to use@outreach.psu.edu. USE has a waiting list, so if you must cancel, please do so at least three weeks in advance as a courtesy to other students so they can enjoy the USE experience.
Important note: USE will be listed on your fall class schedule as RPTM 297C. Do not drop this course from your schedule. Dropping this course may result in you losing your space in the USE program. If the course drop takes place after the late drop deadline during the fall semester, you will incur a fine and be held responsible for the course tuition. Contact our office if you have any questions regarding this process.
