Instructor/Leader ($325–$400/program week) 
Instructor/Leader will lead incoming students into the backcountry and teach backpacking while on a four-night backpacking trip that includes packing a backpack; reading a map; facilitating group dynamics; providing instruction on course requirements; practicing first aid if necessary; setting the appropriate pace; acting as a positive Penn State mentor; and supervising Leave No Trace activities, camp cooking, bear bags, risk management, etc. 
Logistics coordinator ($325–$400/program week)
Logistics coordinator serves as the backbone of ORION and is detail minded; knowledgeable about preparing gear and equipment, grocery shopping, repackaging food, food prep, water drops, and emergency pickups; ready to serve as leader in an emergency; has good communication skills; able to coordinate trail drop-offs and pickups for barbecue prep, as well as read maps, and drive. No overnights. (Preference will be given to applicants 25 or older, due to driving restrictions.)

I would like to work as either a logistics coordinator or a trip leader, depending on the program's needs.
