Coaching Staff

Dawna Prevette Dawna Prevette, camp co-director, begins her second year as head coach of the Penn State women's tennis team. In her first season at Penn State, the Nittany Lions compiled a record of 8–14, including three victories over ranked teams. Coach Prevette comes to Penn State after serving as Baylor University's assistant women's tennis coach, where she helped the Bears to the Big 12 regular and tournament championship as well as a berth in the NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen. Prior to joining the staff at Baylor, Coach Prevette was the head women's tennis coach at her alma mater, University of North Texas.

Todd DoeblerTodd Doebler, camp co-director, is in his third year as the head coach of the Penn State men’s tennis team. Coach Doebler led the Nittany Lions to the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament win during the 2008 season. He also led the Lions to their third consecutive NCAA Championship appearance and tied the program-best record in the Big Ten at 6-4, repeating the previous year's record. The Nittany Lions finished thirty-eighth in the ITA final national rankings, a program best in the final polls. Coach Doebler also led the Lions to their first-ever ECAC Championship. In 2007, Coach Doebler led the Nittany Lions to a 16-7 overall record, a program best 6-4 mark in the Big Ten, and the program's fourth berth into the NCAA Championship.The Lions finished forty-third in the ITA final national rankings. Coach Doebler came to Penn State after four years as an assistant coach at Notre Dame. In addition to his collegiate experience, Coach Doebler also has experience as a teaching professional.

Dan HolmanDan Holman begins his fourth year as assistant coach of the Penn State men's tennis team. In May of 2008, Holman was recognized as the ITA Northeast Region Assistant Coach of the Year. A graduate of Appalachian State University, he joins the Nittany Lion staff from the USA Tennis High Performance Coaching program in Key Biscayne, Florida. Coach Holman has more than five years of tennis teaching experience.

Evan Clark Evan Clark is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Nittany Lion women's tennis team. He comes to Penn State after nearly a year as the program manager for junior competition and junior development at the USTA Missouri Valley Section. Prior to this, Clark was director of junior development at Woodside Health and Tennis Club. He was a member of UMKC's men's tennis team for three seasons, where he earned All Mid-Continent Conference honors. Clark was also on the 2005 University of Arkansas men's tennis team.

Assisting the Penn State coaching staff are current and former members of the Penn State men's and women's tennis teams, as well as local teaching professionals.
