Coaching Staff
At the Penn State Winter Rugby Clinics you will work with some of the best coaches in the country. The clinic coaches will bring experience and the latest ideas to the practice field, as well as the enthusiasm to make each clinic a fun experience.
Don Ferrell — director of rugby and head coach for the men’s rugby team at Penn State; assistant coach for the NA4 Falcons; Collegiate All-American Selector; former assistant coach for the Men’s Collegiate All-American team and for the USA U19 team; three World Cups
Peter Baggetta — assistant director of rugby and assistant coach for the men’s and women’s rugby teams at Penn State; assistant coach for the Mid-Atlantic Men’s All-Stars, Gonzaga High School, and the Pacific Coast Collegiate All Stars; former head coach for super league men’s team PAC; defensive specialist coach for many programs including the U.S. men’s and women’s national teams, women’s national 7’s team, and several national age-grade teams.
Peter Steinberg — head coach of the 2009 National Champion Penn State women’s team (5th national title); former USA Rugby’s director of age-grade development; head coach for the Mid-Atlantic Men’s All-Stars; former head coach for the NA4 Hawks and the U.S. Women’s National U23 Team
