Thank you for considering our Penn State Lady Lion Basketball Camp. To those of you who have sent a child to one of our past camps, thank you for your continued loyalty; rest assured that your child’s 2009 camp experience will be every bit as rewarding. Those considering sending a child for the first time should know that the camper’s safety and welfare are our top priority and that your child will receive professional instruction from a team of outstanding coaches. Who Should Attend

The Penn State Lady Lion Basketball Shooting Camp is designed for students entering grades eight through twelve next fall.

The Penn State Lady Lion Basketball High Intensity Camp is designed for students entering grades nine through twelve. Varsity experience is recommended. 

The Penn State Lady Lion Basketball Skills Camp is designed for students entering grades four through twelve next fall.

The Penn State Lady Lion Basketball Total Package and Games Galore Team Camps are designed for junior varsity teams, varsity teams, and/or club teams.

About the Camps

Lady Lion Basketball Shooting Camp

This three-day camp is designed to perfect the mechanics and footwork of your shot. Each camper will have the opportunity to work one on one with a coach to analyze the proper technique and form. Heavy emphasis will be placed on shooting in competitive shooting drills and contests. Each camper will receive a camp shirt and a basketball.
When: June 13–15
Who: Students entering grades 8–12
Fee: Resident—$225, Commuter—$190

Lady Lion Basket ball

Lady Lion Basketball High Intensity Camp

This camp is designed for the athlete who is serious about raising her game and playing at the collegiate level. The Lady Lion coaching staff and players will provide individual instruction that will include lectures, demonstrations, and intense applications. The campers will also get the opportunity to compete against some of the nation’s best high school players in highly competitive scrimmages. Each camper will receive a camp shirt and a Lady Lions season-highlight DVD.
When: June 21–23
Who: Students entering grades 9–12. Varsity experience is recommended.
Fee: $225 (This is a resident camp only.)

Lady Lion Basketball Skills Camp

This action-packed overnight camp will focus on teaching fundamentals and encouraging skill development in all aspects of the game. The campers will thrive in drills, individual instruction, and team settings. The Lady Lion staff and players will be on hand every day to teach and encourage all the campers. Each camper will receive a camp shirt and a Lady Lions season-highlight DVD.
When: June 21–24
Who: Students entering grades 4–12
Fee: Resident—$380, Commuter—$325 (cost does not include housing)

Lady Lion Basketball Team Camps

Team Camp is designed to provide junior varsity, varsity, and/or club teams with the opportunity to train and compete under the guidance of the Lady Lion basketball staff. Teams must send a minimum of eight players and a maximum of twelve players. Each camper will receive a camp shirt.

Total Package Team Camp

During this three-day camp, each team will participate in “five on five” games, special situation settings, and team-building exercises. The Lady Lion staff and players will also provide demonstrations and lectures on various topics related to individual fitness and team success.
When: Total Package Team Camp, June 25–27
Fee: Resident—$260, Commuter—$225 (cost does not include housing)
Deadline: June 15 

Games Galore Team Camp

 For the teams looking to get together after a long summer, this camp will provide the opportunity to play numerous games in a concise amount of time.
When: Games Galore Team Camp, August 7–9
Fee: Resident—$260, Commuter—$225 (cost does not include housing)
Deadline: July 27 

Recreation—During the camp, participants may spend their free time enjoying Penn State's many recreational facilities, including the outdoor swimming pool.
