Thank you for considering our Penn State Volleyball Camp. To those of you who have sent a child to one of our past camps, thank you for your continued loyalty; rest assured that your child’s 2010 camp experience will be every bit as rewarding. Those considering sending a child for the first time should know that the camper’s safety and welfare are our top priority and that your child will receive professional instruction from a team of outstanding coaches. Who Should Attend

The Penn State Girls' Volleyball Instructional Camp is designed for students entering grades seven through twelve next fall.

The Penn State Girls' Volleyball Team Camp and the Team Competition Camp are designed for students entering grades nine through twelve next fall.

About the Camps

The Penn State Girls' Volleyball Instructional Camp, under the guidance of an expert teaching staff, consists of lectures, demonstrations, and daily drill sessions designed to teach the skills and techniques of modern volleyball.

Penn State Girls' Volleyball Team Camp I and Team Camp II are designed to provide varsity high school and/or club teams with the opportunity to train and compete under the direction and guidance of an outstanding coaching staff. Each team will have tactical training sessions, technical pressure training, and daily competitions.

Penn State Girls' Volleyball Team Competition Camp is specifically designed to help varsity or junior varsity teams get ready for their upcoming season. There will be an emphasis on game preparation and game competitions, with the team coaches being actively involved. The Penn State coaching staff will assist and advise at every session and interact with team coaches to make this a productive preseason experience.

For all team camps, teams must bring a minimum of eight or up to a maximum of fourteen players. Also, if you are bringing more than one team, fill out a completed copy of the team roster for each team.

Recreation — During camp, participants may spend their free time enjoying Penn State's many recreational facilities, including the outdoor swimming pool.
