Location and Housing
All Penn State Sport Camps are conducted on Penn State's University Park campus in State College, Pennsylvania. Resident campers are housed in University residence halls, supervised by camp counselors. Bed linens are provided, but resident campers should bring a blanket, bed pillows and pillowcases, soap, towels, facecloths, clothes hangers, swimsuits, portable fans, and other personal items. Laundry facilities are available in the residence halls.
Campers may indicate one roommate preference on the registration form. Listing a roommate preference does not guarantee enrollment of the roommate in the camp. If no preference is indicated, the housing office will assign a roommate. Please note: The University cannot guarantee that entire teams or all campers from a single school will be housed in the same building or on the same floor.
Because the security and safety of camp participants are important, campers must be in the residence halls by 10:30 p.m., and the doors will be locked at 11:00 p.m. University student auxiliary police monitor the residence halls and surrounding areas overnight.
