Now that you have gathered all the required information to complete your child's registration, go to the "Fee and Registration" page and click on the "online registration form" link. A screen will appear, titled "Search Outreach Offerings," which will list the camps available for the program. Click "register" for the camp in which you wish to enroll your child.
- If the program listed is the only program you are going to register your child for, click "Check out." If not, click "Continue Shopping" until you are ready to check out.
- Then you will be asked to enter a digital identity.
- If you are already affiliated with Penn State and have an Access ID, or Friends of Penn State ID, enter the ID here with your password.
- If you are not already affiliated with Penn State, you can create a new digital ID. This will give you access to Outreach services. Upon creating this, you will be asked for YOUR information, (do not put in your child's). This will include your address, name, phone, e-mail, etc. At the end, it will ask you for a password and some password phrases. After you submit this, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with your new digital ID. After creating the ID, you will then be taken to the next screen, where you will be already logged in.
- You will be presented with a screen that shows your name at the top.
- You will then want to click the "Add/Edit/Delete Individuals" button, to the right of the box with your name listed. This will allow you to add your child(ren) to your "cart" so that you may register them for their programs.
- The next page will list your name only. If your child has the same address as yours, it is easiest to just click "copy" to the right of your name (far right). This will duplicate the address and other information. Or, you can start from scratch using "Add Customer."
- However you've chosen to proceed, you will then enter your child's personal information here. In the area where it asks for a Social Security or Penn State ID number, you will want to enter your child's Penn State ID number, or his/her Social Security number, so that it links the registration to the correct student in our database.
- This will also create a new digital ID for your child, which you can have sent to him or to you via the e-mail address you enter here.
- After completing this form, you will be taken back to the previous screen. Click "Continue."
- Then select whom you want to register from the list and "Add Individuals to Cart."
- Click "Continue."
- Now you will be on the registration form. Most information will be generated for you, but you should verify it and continue through the form.
*The Social Security number (SSN) you provide for enrollment purposes, or when requesting specific services, will be used by the University to verify your identity for official record keeping and reporting. If you choose not to supply your SSN, certain services—such as transcripts, enrollment verification, tax reporting, and financial aid—may not be available to you, and Penn State cannot guarantee a complete academic record for you. Your SSN will be stored in a central system and used only as a primary source to identify you within the Penn State system; the Penn State ID will be used as the primary identifier.
