Position Camp
June 24-25, 2005

for upcoming seniors only; for those who play the position and want to perfect it

Who Should Attend

The Penn State Position Camp provides campers with the opportunity to focus on the development of the individual skills and techniques that are unique to a single position. The noncontact, no-pad, two-day camp allows campers to be instructed on one of seven individual positions: quarterback, wide receiver, running back, offensive line, defensive line, linebacker, and defensive back.

About the Camp

The Penn State Position Camp, (Friday, June 24, Saturday, June 25) is designed to focus on upcoming seniors in order to concentrate on position-specific skill and technique development. You will spend your entire camp experience concentrating on the ONE position you choose. The Penn State staff, former Nittany Lion players, and select high school coaches
form a camp staff that gives you a great opportunity to learn from some of the best coaches and players in the country.

Instruction will be offered in field and lecture sessions. Participants should arrive at camp in good physical condition, paying particular attention to leg strength, conditioning, and flexibility. Sessions will be held both on outside grass fields and in our spacious indoor facility.

Recreation--During camp, participants may spend their free time enjoying
Penn State's many recreational facilities, including the outdoor swimming pool.

Coaching Staff
The Penn State coaching staff is joined by a collection of former Nittany Lion players
and top high school football coaches from all parts of the country to provide
instruction in all facets of your specific position.
