Who Should Attend
The Penn State Martial Arts Camp is designed to develop physical fitness, general athleticism, and martial art skills for boys and girls entering grades six through twelve next fall.

About the Camps
This camp will provide a fun and in-depth introduction to traditional martial arts such as karate, judo, and aikido. A strong emphasis will be placed on evaluating and developing physical fitness, and how martial arts can help improve athleticism and your performance in an entire range of other sports. Camp participants will have their fitness levels evaluated by exercise physiologists and learn how martial arts training can increase their fitness, athleticism, and self-defense skills. Even if they do not pursue martial arts training after camp, the participants can learn martial arts skills that can help them learn to relax and focus mental and physical power to become better athletes, regardless of their sport. Daily activities will consist of martial arts training, athletic conditioning and fitness testing, demonstrations of martial arts, videos, self-defense and "role play" games, and exercises. Twenty-four hour supervision will be provided by our outstanding coaches and counselors.
