Student Travel Awards

Application Submission Deadline: March 31, 2008
Awards Announced: by April 15, 2008

Student AMQUA members who are presenting a poster or a paper at the 2008 AMQUA Biennial Meeting may apply for travel support funds. Successful applicants will receive a maximum reimbursement of $350. Checks will be issued by AMQUA following the meeting and upon submission of original receipts for eligible expenses associated with travel to the meeting, such as room cost, registration fee, meals, airfare, and gas or mileage.

Eligibility and Submission Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled as a student
  • Member of AMQUA
  • A letter of request for a travel award
  • A copy of your abstract

Important: You must also submit your abstract online as a part of the call for abstracts submission process, although you may apply for the travel award before actually submitting your abstract online. Only a text copy of the abstract is required for travel award consideration. Individuals are responsible for completing the registration process and submitting the appropriate fees to attend.
