Who Should Attend the Advanced Camps
(For Advanced High School-Age Players)
Penn State Advanced High School Ice Hockey Camps are designed for students who are entering grades nine through twelve next fall and who plan to continue their participation in hockey beyond high school.
About the Camps
Penn State Advanced High School Ice Hockey Camps are designed to introduce players to the skills, tactics, and strategies they will need to play at the college level and to let participants display their talents to the coaches on the camp staff—coaches from all levels of hockey. The camps focus on advanced skill development, team play concepts, personalized skill evaluations, and interviews with coaches.
To provide the best possible learning environment, enrollment is limited to six teams of twenty skaters and two goalies each. Players must have at least four years of playing experience on a USA Hockey–registered team and/or high school team to enroll in this camp. Because of the camps' competitive nature, the camp director has the final say on which players are admitted.
THIS IS NOT A CAMP FOR NOVICE PLAYERS.
Those who wish to enroll must complete the camper information section of the registration form.

Applications will be processed by position on a first-come, first-served basis until the session is filled. Because of the organization of the camp instructional program, it is necessary to accept applicants on the basis of age level and position played. For this reason, applicants of certain positions and age levels will be closed out when that age level and position are filled.
Recreation—During camp, participants can spend their free time enjoying Penn State's many recreational facilities, including the outdoor swimming pool.
