The Occupational Outlook Handbook (OOH)
The OOH is a nationally recognized source of career information designed to provide valuable assistance to individuals making decisions about their future careers and career directions. The OOH provides information about occupations from A to Z.

The OOH is compiled by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and includes information related to the nature of work; working conditions; training, other qualifications, and advancement; job outlook; earnings; and related occupations. In addition, the site offers job search tips and links to information about the job market in each site.

The O*NET system serves as the nation's primary source of occupational information, providing comprehensive information on key attributes and characteristics of workers and occupations. You can find occupations using keywords, browsing by job families and high-growth industries, etc. You can also use a list of your skills to find matching occupations.

Career InfoNet
CareerInfoNet can help you identify careers, education, and job options that best fit you. The site offers career videos, skills profiles, résumé tutorials, and links to America's Job Bank.

As part of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, this site provides information about industries as they relate to state and local job markets.

 

Center for Workforce Information and Analysis: Home of PA Work Stats
This site is a comprehensive online resource for PA job seekers featuring stats for Pennsylvania including information on competitive industries, work stats, careers in demand, fastest growing occupations, income and wages, and more. This site identifies statewide as well as regional high-priority occupations. The site also offers Pennsylvania employment news and a wealth of information for Pennsylvania residents.

Office of Vocational Rehabilitation
OVR is the Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, a state agency that provides services to help persons with disabilities prepare for, start, and maintain employment.
