Get those napkins ready! It’s a Blue and White BBQ.
New students as of the summer session and fall semester of 2008 are invited to the Blue and White BBQ—with our new-student orientation program—scheduled for
both Lewistown and University Park. The agenda includes a presentation by Continuing Education staff and current students, and the opportunity to meet some faculty, talk with a
financial aid adviser, activate your Access Account, and, of course, enjoy a tasty BBQ dinner from Clem’s. Invitations will be mailed in early August. Bring a spouse, bring a
friend. Reservations are required.

Do What You Love; Love What You Do
Liz Lasher, Continuing Education career counselor, will repeat her popular three-session career workshop in October. From 6:00 to 8:00 on three consecutive Tuesday
evenings—October 7, 14, and 21—Liz will help the participants explore their career interests, values, and skills in order to develop an educational and career plan. The
program will be held in the community room of the Schlow Centre Region Library in downtown State College. There is no registration fee for this program, but participation is limited
to twenty persons. Call Continuing Education at 814-865-3443 for details and to register. A three-week commitment is also required, as each session will build upon the previous
one(s).
