Value of a Penn State Education

The return from a degree is well worth the investment. A 2004 College Board research report noted that typical college graduates earn about 73 percent more than typical high school graduates. Moreover, a college education lowers your likelihood of unemployment, expands your career options, and increases the quality of life for your family. A college education pays for itself in many ways well beyond the cost of obtaining a degree.
