Value of a Penn State Education

A college education pays well beyond its investment over your lifetime. The 2004 U.S. Census Population Survey revealed that associate degree holders can expect to make $400,000 more than high school graduates over the course of their careers. And the investment does not stop at earnings. College graduates reported a better quality of life, felt they were better-informed consumers, had higher levels of savings and financial security, and had more career options. The rate of return for a college education is well worth the investment.
