Postbaccalaureate Certificate in Human Resources and Employment Relations (9 credits)
Prospective students must have at least two years of professional experience before entering the program.
Students must complete 9 credits of graduate-level courses while maintaining a 3.0 grade-point average.
Required Courses
HRER 504 Seminar in Industrial Relations (3 credits)
Theory, process, and issues of industrial relations, including collective bargaining and contract administration. Prerequisites: HRER 512 and 513
HRER 505 Seminar in Human Resources (3 credits)
Current human resource topics in the context of organizational strategy, planning, and responsibility. Prerequisites: HRER 512 and 513
Students choose a third course from a list that includes courses on employment law, diversity in the workplace, organizational behavior, work and family, labor markets, and special topics.
