About the Center
Welcome to the Penn State Learning Center in Lewistown. From our center located on 152 East Market Street, you can access Penn State courses, degree programs, and training for you or your organization. We want to try to serve as many needs as possible, so we deliver courses that apply to seven associate degrees in fields such as hospitality management, criminal justice, and business.
Adult students who take classes in Lewistown comment that they really like the small class size, the convenience of classes close to home, and the bond they develop with others from their community. Learning is a combination of hands-on activities, practical projects, and one-on-one instruction. Classes are scheduled conveniently in the evenings to help you fit education into your schedule. Students from across disciplines take courses together before moving into specialized courses within their major. Students can take General Education course requirements toward a bachelor's degree before transferring to University Park.
Continuing Education works with businesses in Juniata and Mifflin Counties to deliver training on-site at their location covering a wide range of organizational topics and issues. From leadership and management training to customer service and process efficiencies, Penn State delivers quality programs you and your employees can be proud of.

We are located in the Business Development Center between South Main Street and South Dorcas Street in downtown Lewistown. The center can be accessed by doors from either South Main Street (municipal lot) or South Dorcas Street (business entrance). The center's administrative offices and classrooms are located on the first floor. Elevator access is located inside the South Main Street entrance to the left.
From State College Area: Take Route 322 East toward the Lewistown area. Take East Charles Street/Mt. Union, Route 522 exit. Turn right at the first traffic light onto South Dorcas Street. Follow Dorcas Street to Water Street intersection. Turn left onto Water Street. A municipal parking lot is located on the left with metered parking.
Enter the first door to the right and proceed downstairs to suite 100.
