Program Overview
All course materials, quizzes, evaluations, and program certificates will be available through this Web site.
Each of the courses offered here will:
- provide contact hours that can be applied to the 30 hours required of Pennsylvania registered nurses for biennial license renewal (Act 58)
- supply you with relevant and up-to-date information on topics of interest in your field
- allow you to obtain necessary contact hours from the comfort and convenience of your home or office
- save you commuting time and travel expense, compared to attendance at standard classroom programs
- provide you with reasonably priced contact hours from a university renowned in the nursing field
To get you started, the first course in this series will be offered at no charge. The course is Research Applications: Delivering Mouth Care to Persons with Dementia. Try it out—you will find this a convenient way to earn the contact hours you need.
