The symposium highlights the economic, research, and innovation opportunities that nuclear power presents to Pennsylvania and the mid-Atlantic region. The objective of this symposium is
to foster interactions among industry, government, and academia in education and research innovation, to support industry's manufacturing and workforce needs. It will also showcase Penn
State's contributions to the nuclear power industry. The symposium will take place during the fiftieth anniversary of nuclear engineering education at Penn State.
