Poster Session Abstracts

The program committee invites abstracts for posters focusing on any aspect of nonparametric statistics, mixture modeling, connections between those fields, and related applications.

Submit abstracts via e-mail attachment to statistics@outreach.psu.edu.

Instructions for abstract submissions:

1. Abstracts should be at most 250 words in length.
2. Titles should be twenty-five or fewer words.
3. All contributing authors should be identified.
4. All abstracts must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. (EST), April 28, 2008.
5. All abstracts shall be submitted as plain text files in the body of
an e-mail message to statistics@outreach.psu.edu.

Important note: The e-mail address statistics@outreach.psu.edu will
be able to handle only plain text. Authors may include LaTeX mark-up
commands in an abstract, noting that a good abstract will contain
minimal amounts of formulas or technical notation.

By May 1, 2008, authors will receive notification regarding abstract/poster acceptance.

Poster Preparation: Your poster may not be larger than 46 x 46 inches. The organizers will provide Velcro tape to attach the poster to the poster boards.

Important note: Authors of abstracts that are accepted are requested to register for the conference by May 1 and to secure accommodations at least thirty days ahead of the conference.
