Description of Accommodations
A block of rooms has been reserved in Eastview Terrace for the Penn State Summer Institute for Music Learning and Teaching. The rate is $63 per night, per person,
single occupancy. Each room has one single bed, a nightstand, a desk, an armoire, and a private bath. A small microwave and refrigerator are provided for your
convenience. The cost includes a hot breakfast for each day in residence, bed linens, towels, washcloth, and soap. You should bring your own clothes hangers, alarm clock, and any
other personal items you may require.
To Reserve a Room
Download, fill out, and fax the reservation request form to Conference Services at
the fax number listed below. A VISA or MasterCard number must be given to reserve your room. Charges will not be applied to your card until you check in.
Payment
Accepted forms of payment for housing are cash, check, MasterCard, and VISA. No other forms of payment will be accepted. To pay for a room via credit card, the cardholder must
present the card at the time of check-in. If this is not possible, you can guarantee your reservation by credit card and pay with a check or cash at the time of check-in. All housing
charges must be paid in full at the time of check-in.
Cancellation and Early-Departure Policy
No-Shows: We ask that cancellations be made at least twenty-four hours prior to arrival. If cancellation is made, no charges will be assessed. If you fail to cancel your
reservation prior to the conference or fail to show, a one-night penalty will be assessed.
Early Departures: A “Refund Request” form, available at all check-in locations, must be completed at the time of your early departure, and all keys and cards must be returned to complete the checkout process. You will be charged for the length of your stay, plus a one-night penalty.

Convention and Visitors Bureau for a complete list of lodging choices in State College. Off-campus housing will be limited because the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts takes place during these same dates.
