Application
Q: Will you accept applications after the June 29 deadline?
A: You are encouraged to apply as soon as possible, especially for popular instruments and voices (soprano, flute, trumpet, saxophone, violin). While our published deadline is June 29,
2012, we will continue to accept applications for available positions after that.
Q: How is my enrollment for the camp determined?
A: Students are accepted into the Summer Music Camp on a first-come, first-served basis for all but the piano option (an audition recording is required with
application).
Q: When will I find out whether or not I will be able to come to the camp?
A: Piano applications and materials are due by June 1, 2012, and are reviewed by a committee, with notification of admission beginning by June 15 and
continuing until no spaces remain. The piano option is limited to twenty-four students. They will receive notification of receipt of application materials and payment but are not formally
enrolled until the piano faculty approve their enrollment. All others will receive their acceptances by email once their registrations have been processed, if an email address
has been provided. If there is no email address, a paper acceptance will be mailed through the U.S. Postal Service.
Q: What happens if I can't attend the camp after I enroll?
A: If your request to withdraw is received at least fifteen business days prior to the first day of the program, we can issue a partial refund. A $50 administrative fee
will be charged for each withdrawal.
