Registration

Fee: Registration fee includes session attendance, materials, break refreshments, lunch on Wednesday and Thursday, the opening poster session reception on Tuesday, the poster session reception and dinner on Wednesday, and the closing gala dinner on Thursday. All other meals and expenses are the responsibility of the individual participant.

Early registration fee: $345 (received on or before April 25, 2008)
Late registration fee: $395 (received after April 25)
Early student registration fee: $145 (received on or before April 25)
Late student registration fee: $195 (received after April 25)
Tuesday-extra reception tickets: $30
Wednesday-extra dinner and reception tickets: $45
Extra gala dinner tickets: $50
Microbial Fuel Cells book by Bruce Logan: $60

How to register:
You can register by mailing the printable registration form [with a check, money order, purchase order, or letter of authorization from your employer or sponsoring organization].

Credit card payment can be accepted only with online registration.

Online registration has been closed to allow organizers to prepare for the symposium next week. You may still register by mailing a registration form with the appropriate payment listed above.  You may also register on-site-an additional $30 walk-in fee will be charged.

Deadline: All registrations must be received by 5:00 p.m. EST May 22, 2008. After this date, please call the conference planner at 814-863-5100 for information about on-site check-in; if space permits, you may register for an additional $30.

Confirmation: The conference planner will confirm your enrollment and provide additional information. You will be alerted promptly of any cancellations or changes. If some unforeseen event forces Penn State to cancel or postpone the program, you will get a full refund of your registration fee, however, the University cannot be held responsible for any other related costs including cancellation fees assessed by airlines or travel agencies.

Refunds: If your request to withdraw is received at least fifteen business days prior to the first day of the conference we can issue a partial refund. Send your written request by fax to 814-863-5190 or by e-mail to ConferenceInfo1@outreach.psu.edu. A $50 administrative fee will be charged for each withdrawal. Anyone who is registered but cannot attend may send a substitute.
