Scholarships
The Pennsylvania Department of Education's Bureau of Special Education has announced the availability of student scholarships for the 2009 Pennsylvania Low Incidence Institute.
A limited number of scholarships are available to qualifying attendees of the 2009 Pennsylvania Low Incidence Institute. Please apply early and include complete information for a timely response.
Student Scholarship Information

| Where: | The Nittany Lion Inn, State College, Pennsylvania |
| Who: | Pennsylvania college and university 2009 graduates or students majoring in special education, education of the visually impaired or hearing impaired, or related professions |
| Purpose: | To encourage students and recent graduates to pursue a career working with students with low incidence disabilities and to become informed on evidence-based practices and issues in the field |
| What: | Scholarships will cover costs for up to ten graduates/students to attend the conference, including registration fee, lodging, and meals included on the agenda. |
| How: | Interested students and recent graduates should download the application form. To qualify, you must show evidence that you are a current student or recent (2009) graduate at a Pennsylvania college or university, with a major in special education, education of the visually impaired or hearing impaired, or related professions. A letter of recommendation from a university professor or his or her signature on the form is also required. |
