About LABASH

LABASH was first held in 1970 at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. The 2009 LABASH conference, to be held February 26–28, 2009, will be Penn State’s third time hosting the event. Founded in 1907, Penn State’s landscape architecture program is one of the oldest in the United States. We are excited to share everything that Penn State Landscape Architecture has to offer with students and professionals from around the world.

Theme of LABASH 2009

The theme for LABASH 2009 is “Make Your Mark.” LABASH 2009 will help give you the tools you need to make your mark as an up-and-coming professional in the field of landscape architecture. During the conference, you can learn about opportunities in the field in daily seminars, meet potential employers at the career expo, and network with the professionals who are driving innovation and design in landscape architecture today. From the drafting table to the digital modeling screen to the field itself—LABASH 2009 is an excellent way to learn how to make your mark in landscape architecture.
