Exhibitors

The Third Annual Pennsylvania Statewide Interoperability Conference, presented by Pennsylvania's Office of Public Safety Radio Services (OPRS), will be held at The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel, September 30 and October 1, 2009. The conference is being held in partnership with the College of Education at Penn State.

We invite you to participate as an exhibitor. Planned exhibits will enhance the program to better serve our participants. The conference will provide two half-days of discussion and promotion of interoperable public safety communications in Pennsylvania. Exhibits will be on display during the conference from 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 30, and will end at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 1.

There are a limited number of sponsored events that include, but are not limited to, a Welcome Reception or Hospitality Suite on Wednesday, September 30. If you have ideas for or would like to sponsor an event, please e-mail Lisa Clapper at LRC139@PSU.EDU no later than August. 31, 2009.

Exhibit Space
Assignment of booths will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Your exhibit space will not be secured until we receive the exhibitor registration form, a signed copy of the agreement for exhibitors, and payment in full for registration and any additional costs. The registration process may be done by fax if payments are being handled by a credit card (VISA, American Express, Discover, or MasterCard). Any registration being processed by check MUST be mailed to the address indicated on the form.

The exhibit registration includes one draped six-foot table, two chairs, a vendor sign, name badge, conference attendee list, lunch, and refreshment breaks. Exhibitors will be responsible for providing all other materials and equipment, including making arrangements for electricity per the enclosed form. Self-supporting display stands and equipment should fit within the confines of the table area. Large pieces of equipment that do not fit within the table confines should not be displayed. The floor is carpeted, so exhibitors who plan to display instruments with tripods or other sharp ends must provide protective caps. The exhibits will be held in an area adjacent to meetings and refreshment breaks.

Please note:

  • The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel will NOT accept materials, nor are they responsible or liable for any shipment sent and stored on their loading dock.
  • Shipments cannot be sent COD.
  • Electrical or audio-visual services are not included in the exhibit fee. If these services are required, please note them in the space provided on the registration form.

Exhibitor Lists
List of exhibitors and participants will be provided to each exhibitor's contact registration. These lists will be provided to you in your conference packet, which will be issued to you at final registration. Please be sure to pick up this packet, along with your name badge, at the conference registration desk in the morning.

Please note:

Deadline and Cancellation Policy
For effective planning, your exhibitor registration form and signed agreement for exhibitors should be received by Penn State no later than August 31, 2009. No refunds will be issued.

The University may cancel or postpone any course of activity because of insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If a program is cancelled or postponed, the University cannot be held responsible for any related costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies.
