Location and Accommodations
The program will be held at The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel, one of the largest university-based conference center hotels of its kind in the country. The Penn Stater, part of Penn State's Innovation Park, features recently renovated rooms, extensive meeting facilities, and excellent restaurants.
A limited number of rooms have been set aside at the conference location. Call or fax The Penn Stater to make your room reservation. Be sure to identify yourself as a participant in the Governor's Higher Education Conference. The hotel reservation code for this conference is STAC09B. Reservations should be made at least thirty (30) days prior to the start of the conference. The special room rate for this conference cannot be guaranteed after February 16, 2009, so participants are encouraged to make their room reservations early.

Driving Directions
Please note: Interstate I-99 is scheduled to be open by March 2009. This may affect the directions listed below.
From the East:
Take I-80 West in Pennsylvania to Exit 161 (Bellefonte). Follow PA 26 South to US I-99 S, and take Exit 74 for Innovation Park/Penn State University. Stay in the right lane of
the exit and follow the sign for Innovation Park. Turn right at the end of the ramp onto the Park Avenue extension and turn left at the stop sign at Innovation Boulevard. The
hotel is on the right.
From Philadelphia:
Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike/I-76 West to Exit 247 (Harrisburg East) and follow signs, for the next 15 miles to Route 322 West. Take 322 West past Lewistown toward
State College (staying on 322 West at Boalsburg) and take the Penn State University/Innovation Park exit. Turn left at the stoplight and follow signs for Innovation Park Exit
A, leading directly to the hotel in Innovation Park.
From Harrisburg:
Take Route 322 West past Lewistown toward State College (staying on 322 West at Boalsburg) and take the Penn State University/Innovation Park exit. Turn left at the stoplight and
follow signs for Innovation Park Exit A that leads directly to the hotel in Innovation Park.
From Pittsburgh:
Take Route 22 East to Duncansville. Merge onto Route 220/I-99 North to the Penn State University/Innovation Park exit, turn left at the stoplight, and follow signs for Innovation
Park Exit A, leading directly to the hotel in Innovation Park.
From the West:
