Continuing Education Units

Psychologists
The Penn State Consortium, consisting of the Department of Psychology, College of the Liberal Arts; the Programs in Counseling Psychology and School Psychology, College of Education, and the Counseling and Psychological Services Internship Center, is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Penn State Consortium maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

Full attendance at the workshop is required to receive CE credit for psychologists. Partial credit will not be awarded. Late arrivals or early departures will preclude awarding of CE credits.

Approval to offer 6.5 continuing education (CE) units for psychologists has been applied for through the Penn State Consortium. Act 48
This event has been approved for 6.0 ACT 48 hours. Individuals attending this event must arrive on time and stay for the duration of the event in order to receive Act 48 professional education hours.

Social Work
Approval for continuing education for licensed social workers has been applied for through the Pennsylvania state Board of Social Work Examiners, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.
