Application and Fee

Fees: The fee of $2,995 ($2,495 for Sloan-C members) includes:

  • all learning activities, program materials, refreshment breaks, continental breakfasts, Monday reception, three lunches and Wednesday dinner at the on-site program; registrants are responsible for all other meals and lodging
  • the two and three-week online instructional experience, facilitated by IELOL faculty
  • registration for the IELOL pre-conference event at the Annual Sloan-C Conference (Note: Conference registration is NOT included.)
  • a one-year individual membership in the Sloan Consortium (nonmembers only)

How to register: Individuals must apply to IELOL and include a letter of nomination from a supervisor indicating support for the application.  Penn State Conferences will confirm receipt of your application. Registration information will be sent to participants accepted into this program.

Deadline: All registrations must be received by 5:00 p.m. EST on June 30, 2012. After this date, please call the conference planner, Nancy Eckard, at 814-863-5100 for information.

Confirmation: Penn State Conferences will confirm your registration. You will be alerted promptly of any cancellations or changes. If some unforeseen event forces Penn State to cancel or postpone the program, you will receive a full refund of your registration fee; however, the University cannot be held responsible for any related costs, including cancellation fees assessed by airlines or travel agencies.

Refunds: If your request to withdraw is received by June 22, 2012, we can issue a partial refund. Send your written request by fax to 814-863-5190 or by e-mail to ConferenceInfo1@outreach.psu.edu. A $50 administrative fee will be charged for each withdrawal. Anyone who is registered but cannot attend may send a substitute.
