Billie Willits is Penn State's associate vice president for human resources.

Joe Battista was the head coach of the Penn State Icers from 1987 to 2006. In his nineteen-year career, he compiled a winning percentage of .800, captured six American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) National Titles, and registered no losing seasons. He was named ACHA Division I Coach of the Year twice (2000 and 2002) and during the 2005–06 season won his 500th game with a 6–5 decision over Arizona State. He was the head coach for Team USA at the World University Games in 2003. Joe is a member of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame, the Penn Hills Sports Hall of Fame, and the Penn State Ice Hockey Hall of Fame. In April of 2006, he joined the Nittany Lion Club staff as executive director. Joe received a degree in marketing from Penn State's Smeal College of Business in 1983. He and his wife live in State College with their three children.
