Participation Requirements
  • Open to girls and boys in grades 6–12.
  • All participants must be accompanied by an adult mentor throughout the program; the adult need not be a parent or relative but must be a University employee. Mentors are expected to escort participants to each site, remain with the participants at each site, and join the participants for the closing lunch program.
  • Mentors may sponsor up to two students, but they must be registered for the same sites.
  • The cost of this program is $20 per participant and mentor pair (there will be an additional charge of $15 for each additional mentor or student).
  • All sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Most sites have participant limits due to space restrictions. If your first choice is full, you will be placed into your next available choice.
  • The registration form and fee must be received by April 11, 2008.
  • Confirmation will be sent to the mentor’s office in April.
  • Note: University employees do not have to participate in the Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day program described in this Web site in order to bring their children to their workplace on this day.
