Fee and Registration
Fee: The fee is $195 and covers instruction, materials, lunch, breaks, and activities. The fee may be paid by check, money order, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or VISA. Scholarship application forms are no longer being accepted. They were due to Penn State by April 1, 2009.
Scholarships are are no longer available for Cook like a Chef: The Basics, scheduled for July 13–17, 2009.
Scholarships are available due to partial funding from the PENNSYLVANIA NUTRITION EDUCATION TRACKS, a part of USDA's Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). This program provides nutrition assistance to people with low income. It can help you buy nutritious foods for a better diet. To find out more about PENNSYLVANIA NUTRITION EDUCATION TRACKS, contact the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare's toll-free helpline at 800-692-7462. How to register: You can register by mailing the printable registration form or by submitting the online registration form. Credit card payment can be accepted only
with online registration.

Deadline: All registrations must be received by 5:00 p.m. EST on July 10, 2009. After this date, please call the conference planner at 814-863-5100.
Confirmation: You will receive confirmation via e-mail; if you do not provide an e-mail address, you will receive confirmation via postal mail.
Refunds: If your request to withdraw is received at least fifteen business days prior to the first day of the program, we can issue a partial refund. Send your written request by fax to 814-863-5190 or by e-mail to ConferenceInfo1@outreach.psu.edu. A $50 administrative fee will be charged for each withdrawal.
Confidentiality: For legal reasons, the University cannot release the names or phone numbers of other participants, not even to those who want to carpool.
