Call for Presentations – Due November 12, 2012
The organizers for the 2013 Airports Conference invite presentations among the following themes:
- Airport Engineering
- Airport Safety/Airport Field Lighting
- Airport Management
- Airport Finance, Environment, and Planning
Presentations may be either 45 minutes or 90 minutes in length, inclusive of a question-and-answer period.
Up to two (2) complimentary conference registrations are provided to speakers for accepted 45-minute presentations; up to four (4) complimentary conference registrations are provided to
speakers for accepted 90-minute presentations.
The presentation deadline has now passed. If you have questions about your submission, please email conferenceinfo1@outreach.psu.edu
Submit an abstract (up to 150 words) that includes:
- Names, occupational title, company or organization, addresses, and email addresses of all presenters
- Title of presentation, capturing the primary focus, concern, or topic of the session
- Brief summary of the session, including background and relevance to the conference themes
- The title of one theme that the presentation is most relevant to among the four themes:
- Airport Engineering
- Airport Safety/Airport Field Lighting
- Airport Management
- or, Airport Finance, Environment, and Planning
- The educational objectives of the presentation (no commercial presentations allowed)
- An indication if the presentation is best suited for a 45-minute or 90-minute time period, or if the presentation may be considered for either length of time, as needed, to fit the program schedule
The deadline for submission is November 12, 2012.
Email notifications of acceptance will be made in December 2012.
Persons whose abstracts are accepted must register for the conference by February 15, 2013.
