PLASE

The Pennsylvania Learning Academy for Sexuality Education (PLASE) provides sexuality education training to those professionals who work with young people in need of accurate sexual information and health-promoting skills.

PLASE, a collaborative initiative with the Pennsylvania Coalition to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, is based in the Department of Biobehavioral Health in Penn State's College of Health and Human Development. It offers a statewide education network for Pennsylvania, but welcomes participants from any location and background.

The 2008-09 PLASE program schedule offers one-day workshops at various Penn State locations across the Commonwealth.

PLASE can also work with schools and community groups to design, deliver, and evaluate sexuality education programs for targeted audiences.
