Since their foundation in 1958, the International Rarefied Gas Dynamics Symposia have served as one of the main forums for presentation of recent advances in scientific and engineering fields of rarefied gas dynamics.
The International Symposium on Rarefied Gas Dynamics (RGD2010) is a forum for researchers, developers, managers, scholars, and students in the field of Rarefied Gas Dynamics. The RGD Symposium is held every other year and is attended by participants from over twenty countries representing the worldwide community. The 27th RGD, scheduled from July 10 to 15, 2010, will mark the first time the conference has been held in the United States of America in twenty-two years.
The Asilomar Conference Grounds, founded in 1913 and located on California’s famed Monterey Peninsula, is a tranquil oceanfront retreat surrounded by 107 acres of protected forests and white sand beaches. It is a beautiful vacation spot, so plan to bring your families and make your visit a family vacation!
