Program helps businesses in northeast
The Your e-Business Future program helped businesses in northeastern Pennsylvania establish or upgrade customer Web sites. Participants had an opportunity to attend two sessions and an exhibit of e-business resources during the half-day conference held at Penn State Worthington Scranton.

Sponsors included the Penn State Regional Outreach Council for the Northeast Region, Penn State Cooperative Extension, Penn State Continuing Education and the Pennsylvania Technical Assistance Program. The Penn State units developed the program in collaboration with the University of Scranton Royal Technology Group.

“In any new venture, businesses need to know the critical questions to ask themselves and their vendors in order to move forward quickly and efficiently,” G. Michael McDavid, regional director for the Northeast Region of Penn State Cooperative Extension and Outreach, said. “This program provided businesses with information about what they need to know and who can help them grow the e-business portion of their company.”
