World Campus faculty demonstrate courses at convocation
  More than a dozen Penn State faculty members who teach courses for the Penn State World Campus demonstrated how they use information technologies in their courses during the World Campus Convocation. The “World Campus Showcase” was part of a one-day program for faculty members involved in distance education and the World Campus. “Building the Distance Education Teaching Community” was the convocation theme.

  In addition to the faculty demonstrations, the convocation included presentations by Dr. Peter A. Rubba, director of academic programs, World Campus; Dr. Lawrence C. Ragan, director of Instructional Design and Development, World Campus; Dr. Melody M. Thompson, associate director, World Campus; Jean A. McGrath, director of student services, World Campus; Dr. John T. Harwood, director of Education Technology Services, Center for Academic Computing; and Dr. Gary E. Miller, associate vice president for Distance Education and executive director of the World Campus.
