Dr. James E. Van Horn Cover Story

Dr. James E. Van Horn, professor of rural sociology at Penn State, has devoted 30 years to providing Pennsylvanians and others with knowledge they can use to make their lives and the lives of their children and families better. In honor of his commitment to outreach and cooperative extension, Penn State presented him with the 1999 Award for Faculty Outreach.
