ACVREP
The Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP) is an independent and autonomous legal certification body that is governed by a volunteer board of directors and offers professional certification for vision rehabilitation and education professionals in order to improve service delivery to persons with vision impairments. PaTTAN is an approved provider of ACVREP continuing education hours. For more information, visit the ACVREP website. This workshop is offered for up to 26 CE hours.
Act 48
Penn State will offer up to 26 approved clock hours. Persons attending this event must arrive on time and stay for the duration of the event in order to receive Act 48 professional education hours. Any request for an exception is to be brought to the attention of the person’s superintendent or intermediate unit director prior to the event.
ASHA
The Low Incidence Institute: High Expectations for Achievement is offered for up to 2.6 ASHA CEUs (Advanced level, Professional area).
PaTTAN
The Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network is approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology to offer continuing education for psychologists. PaTTAN maintains responsibility for the program(s). This workshop is offered for up to 28 CE hours.
Social Work
Penn State is approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Professional Counselors to provide continuing education courses and programs for these professions under sections 47.36 (a)(3), 48.36(a)(3), and 49.36 (a)(3) of the Pennsylvania Code. This program will offer up to 26 approved contact hours.
Infant Toddler
Training Hours, Up to 26 Hours
In order to meet annual in-service training hours required by the Bureau of Early Intervention Services, Office of Child Development and Early Learning, staff who work in Early Intervention may sign up for Infant Toddler Training hours. Early intervention Technical Assistance provides certificates that can be downloaded from the PaTTAN online registration system.
The Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network is approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Physical Therapy to provide continuing education programs for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. This program will offer up to 10 approved contact hours.
