World Campus Student Fund

Heads Up!
2006-07 Financial Aid
The 2006-07 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be available online in January 2006! Look for more information in our next issue, or bookmark the Penn State Office of Student Aid Web page and check back frequently for updates: www.psu.edu/dept/studentaid/

The World Campus Student Fund is an annual scholarship established and supported on a voluntary basis by World Campus staff who understand that financial aid is not always available to distance learners--and when it is, the eligibility requirements are often difficult to meet. All scholarship monies awarded are deposited directly into students' Penn State accounts.

To be eligible for the fund, you must:

be currently enrolled in a World Campus undergraduate degree program
have completed a minimum of 9 credits in your World Campus program
have earned a cumulative 3.0 GPA (or higher)
be able to demonstrate financial need (A Free Application for Federal Student Aid is not required to qualify.)

The deadline for the spring/summer 2006 award is September 30! Please contact us or visit www.worldcampus.psu.edu/wc/StudentServices_Scholarships.shtml for application instructions.
