Location
Legends Golf and Resort offers four of the best golf courses available in the Myrtle Beach area and the state of South Carolina.
Centrally located just off Highway 501 in Myrtle Beach, Heathland,
Moorland, and Parkland courses are nestled within the Scottish-inspired Legends Golf and Resort. Heritage Plantation is located just
outside of Pawley's Island and is about a 20-minute drive from the resort. All four courses were developed by Myrtle Beach entrepreneur Larry Young. The four Legends courses are
currently operated by Century Golf Partners of Dallas, Texas, through its management vehicle, Arnold Palmer Golf Management.
All of the golf courses offered are 4½ stars, according to Golf Digest.
They have been listed as "America's Top Golf Courses" by Zagat Survey, 2003–09, and "America's 100 Greatest Public Courses" by Golf Digest: #78 in 2005, #46 in 2007, #33 in 2009.
Accommodations
The $550 class fee covers golf fees with cart, use of practice facilities, and lodging. It does not include transportation to Legends Golf and Resort. Enrollment is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
