Fee and Registration

Fee: The $295 fee for full-time Penn State students covers all instruction and program materials, overnight accommodations from the expedition start date (January 4) to the expedition end date (January 8), equipment (including kayaks and special gear), and meals during the expedition. The fee does not include transportation to and from Florida.

How to Register: Students should register on eLion, using schedule #154726.  Your class fee will be charged to your student account. Enrollment is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis

Deadline: Because of the nature of this program and the commitment we make, the registration deadline is September 1, 2008, or when the course fills.

Confirmation:
We will confirm your enrollment in the program and provide additional information on final registration. You will be notified promptly of any cancellations or schedule or program changes.

Medical Clearance: Due to the nature of this course, all students must pass a medical screening and complete a screening form before participating in this program.

Refunds: To cancel your enrollment, send a written notice to the conference planner by fax (814-863-5190) or e-mail (ConferenceInfo1@outreach.psu.edu) by September 1, 2008. After this deadline, $50 will be deducted for administrative expenses. For refund eligibility, the postmark of the cancellation letter or the date stamp from the fax machine will be honored as the date received by the registration office. Note: Do not use eLion; it does not remove you from the class and you will be held responsible for all the fees.

Cancellations: The University may cancel or postpone any course or activity because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a program is canceled or postponed, the University will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other related costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies.

Tuition: The University reserves the right to revise the schedule of tuition and charges without further notice. For more information on tuition, visit http://tuition.psu.edu/

Access: Penn State encourages persons with disabilities to participate in its programs. If you anticipate needing special accommodations or have questions about the physical access provided, please contact Carolyn Andersen at 814-863-5100 prior to your participation.
