Outreach for Youth
Whatever interest or talent a young
person has, there’s probably a Penn State Outreach program to help him or her develop it further. If you’re looking for ways to build your child’s self-confidence, to encourage
him or her to acquire a new skill, and make new friends while having fun, we provide a tremendous number of wholesome, carefully supervised activities and educational programs
year round for youths aged 4 through 18. From encouraging physical fitness at sport camps to teaching good nutrition at cooking classes; from making learning more enjoyable
through educational public television shows to inspiring greater respect for the environment during our nature center’s day camps, our programs provide memorable experiences that
help lay the foundation for youths’ healthy development into the adults of tomorrow.
