Outreach for Our Communities

Penn State Outreach offers a diverse number of programs to help communities thrive. Through business incubation centers, technical assistance, workforce development and training, cooperative extension, and public media services, we empower people and organizations to improve their quality of life and to achieve more. We help to make communities safer, with training programs for law enforcement and justice system professionals. And by fostering economic development in a variety of ways, Penn State Outreach helps to strengthen communities, provide additional jobs, and ensure that there is a broad scope of training opportunities to serve the needs of employers and their workforce.
